OPEN HEARTS MINISTRIES
Michael & Sue Buzbee founded Open Hearts Ministries in 1997 to work among the poor in Managua, Nicaragua. Today, they are joined by their adult children and their families, Chris & Krista Farrington and Brinson Buzbee to continue this work. Together, they share work over many projects including Club Esperanza (preschool and kindergarten school in one of the poorest communities in the city), Casa Robles and Casa Havilah (a rescue home for at risk boys and girls), and Ruby Ranch (400 acre ranch an hour outside of Managua that they are developing into a retreat center for ministering to at risk children and youth). Because they maintain their own ministry center, Open Hearts is able to host mission teams from the United States to help them in their work.
DAN & DONNA LETTON
Dan and Donna Letton currently serve in Bluefields, Nicaragua. They organize medical and dental mission teams using a 38’ catamaran boat (Caribbean Grace) that Dan built to serve isolated towns and villages accessible only by water. They also work closely with VERBO Church Bluefields and participate in many of the church’s ministries including children’s and youth ministry, men’s and women’s ministry, leadership development, and teaching English.
